    With the ID.7 Tourer, Volkswagen is represented in the important segment of the upper mid-sized class with an all-electric estate car for the first time. With a luggage compartment capacity of up to 1,714 litres, the new ID.7 Tourer is one of the most spacious electric cars on the market. A luggage compartment volume of up to 605 litres is available (with rear bench seat backrest in cargo position) even when there are five people on board. As the large wheelbase almost entirely benefits the interior, the ID.7 Tourer’s overall length of 4,961 mm means there is above-average legroom in the rear. In addition, the estate car boasts extensive standard equipment (including numerous assist systems), intuitive operation and a high-quality overall appearance.

      Driving the new all-electric ID.7 Pro S, the Volkswagen Team Switzerland headed by project lead Felix Egolf, an expert in long-distance driving with electric cars, successfully covered a total of 794 kilometres with a single battery charge in a net driving time of 15 hours and 42 minutes. This significantly exceeded the model’s maximum WLTP range (combined) of up to 709 kilometres.       Volkswagen is expanding its range of ID.7 models. The new ID.7 GTX05 – a fastback with 250 kW (340 PS) output and electric all-wheel drive – celebrates its world premiere first. Just two days later, on 6 June, pre-sales are scheduled to start in Germany at prices starting from 63,155 euros08. Pre-sales of the ID.7 GTX Tourer09 (from 63,955 euros08), ID.7 Pro S07 (from 58,985 euros08) and ID.7 Tourer Pro S10 (from 59,785 euros08) models presented in March will start at the same time. Like the ID.7 GTX05, the 250-kW ID.7 GTX Tourer09 also has electric all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive models ID.7 Pro S07 and ID.7 Tourer Pro S10 develop a maximum output of 210 kW (286 PS).       They are the large touring vehicles in Volkswagen’s electric portfolio – the ID.7 Pro14 and ID.7 Tourer Pro15. Volkswagen is now expanding the ID.7 range with the new Pro S models. The ID.7 Pro S13 and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S01 have a newly developed 86-kWh battery16 on board. Compared with the 77 kWh battery16 in the Pro models, this enables even longer journey distances between two charging stops: the ID.7 Pro S achieves a WLTP range of up to 709 km8, while the ID.7 Tourer Pro S can cover up to 690 km17. In addition, the Pro S models can be charged at DC quick-charging stations with up to 200 kW (Pro models: 175 kW). The ID.7 Pro S and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S share both the maximum charging capacity and the new 86-kWh battery with the product line’s new performance versions: the ID.7 GTX18 and the ID.7 GTX Tourer19.
