Since 2019, the latest diesel generator set in MDB Evo technology has been built in Polkowice, with a cycle time of 27 seconds per engine. Volkswagen Motor Polska also produces engine components, including cylinder heads, crankshafts, cylinder crankcases, connecting rods and the integrated valve train module (iVM). The plant in Polkowice is one of the most modern and efficient engine plants in the Volkswagen Group. In 2023, a total of 607,077 engines were produced, which were installed in the Group models of Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, ŠKODA, SEAT and AUDI.
