In Palmela, the home of the T-Roc is one of the largest foreign industrial investments in Portugal. In 2022 Volkswagen Autoeuropa represented 1.5% of the national GDP and 4% in national export of goods impact. Currently the plant has 594 parts’ suppliers; 21 suppliers deliver Just-In-Time and 77 trucks with production components reach the plant every day.
