With the ID.7 Tourer, Volkswagen is represented in the important segment of the upper mid-sized class with an all-electric estate car for the first time. With a luggage compartment capacity of up to 1,714 litres, the new ID.7 Tourer is one of the most spacious electric cars on the market. A luggage compartment volume of up to 605 litres is available (with rear bench seat backrest in cargo position) even when there are five people on board. As the large wheelbase almost entirely benefits the interior, the ID.7 Tourer’s overall length of 4,961 mm means there is above-average legroom in the rear. The ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S are comfortable touring cars whose balanced running gear offers a high level of comfort in all driving situations in combination with the long wheelbase. At the same time, both versions demonstrate particularly agile handling on country roads as well as outstanding manoeuvrability in the city (turning circle: approx. 10.9 m). The large spread between comfort and agility is possible thanks to the basic layout of the running gear, the enhanced adaptive chassis control (DCC) and an adapted Vehicle Dynamics Manager.
