Volkswagen starts pre-production in first plant purely focused on e-mobility in China

Celebrating the start of pre-production, the first electric-only Volkswagen ID. model for China rolled off the production line, witnessed by Dr. Herbert Diess, CEO of Volkswagen AG (Middle), Dr. Stephan Wöllenstein, CEO of Volkswagen Group China (R3), Wu Qing, Vice Mayor of Shanghai (R1) and Chen Hong, Chairman of SAIC Motor Corporation Limited (R2).
