All-electric ID.7 Pro S covers 794 km on one battery charge
Driving the new all-electric ID.7 Pro S, the Volkswagen Team Switzerland headed by project lead Felix Egolf, an expert in long-distance driving with electric cars, successfully covered a total of 794 kilometres with a single battery charge in a net driving time of 15 hours and 42 minutes. This significantly exceeded the model’s maximum WLTP range (combined) of up to 709 kilometres. The comfortable touring saloon was driven on public roads and in normal traffic flow throughout the entire daytime journey. -

Volkswagen presents the ID.3 GTX FIRE+ICE at the ID. Meeting in Locarno, Switzerland. Developed in collaboration with BOGNER, the Munich-based luxury sports fashion brand, the car is reminiscent of the legendary Golf Fire and Ice, which became a surprise success in the 1990s and has since achieved cult status among fans. With an exclusive 3-layer paint finish with glass bead effect and numerous details in the interior, the vehicle pays tribute to its predecessor and transfers its design idea into the all-electric modern age. -
The sportiest electric Volkswagen to date: Start of pre-sales for the ID.3 GTX Performance
Volkswagen is upping the ante by launching a new, even sportier version of the ID.3 GTX. In addition to the ID.3 GTX, which delivers 210 kW (285 PS), the new ID.3 GTX Performance with 240 kW (326 PS) is now also available to order. This means that the electric compact sports car is equipped with Volkswagen’s most powerful electric drive motor. Both GTX versions effortlessly convert their power into traction on the rear axle. The body and chassis layout offers significant benefits here: with the new 79 kWh battery (net) located in the sandwich floor and precisely in the centre of the vehicle, this design offers a sporty low centre of gravity and ideal axle load distribution for driving dynamics and vehicle handling that guarantees plenty of fun.

ID.3 GTX and ID.3 GTX Performance
Volkswagen presents the world premiere of the sporty ID.3 GTX – the new flagship model in the product line. The ID.3 GTX is a powerhouse that is available with a choice of two different outputs, starting with the new high-efficiency drive in the 210 kW version (286 PS). The ID.3 GTX Performance with 240 kW2 (326 PS) brings even more power into play – the electric compact sports car therefore has the most powerful Volkswagen electric drive motor to date. Both GTX versions effortlessly convert their power into traction at the rear axle. The body and chassis layout offers significant benefits here: with the new 79 kWh battery (net) located in the sandwich floor and precisely in the centre of the vehicle, this design offers a sporty low centre of gravity and ideal axle load distribution. Visually, the GTX models are characterised by an individualised exterior and interior. The range of standard equipment has been expanded significantly. At the same time as the GTX debut, the product line will launch with a completely newly developed infotainment system generation. -
The new ID.7 GTX and ID.7 GTX Tourer - International Media Drive
They are the two new flagship models of the ID.7 product line and the Volkswagen ID. family: the ID.7 GTX saloon and the ID.7 GTX Tourer estate car. Both electric vehicles are united by a highly dynamic drive performance. One electric drive motor on both the front and rear axles merge on board the ID.7 GTX and ID.7 GTX Tourer to form the electric 4MOTION all-wheel drive. System power: 250 kW (340 PS). No other saloon or estate car from Volkswagen currently offers higher performance. The ID.7 GTX Tourer is also the most powerful Volkswagen estate ever built. It passes the 100 km/h mark in just 5.5 seconds. The saloon even completes the classic starting sprint a touch faster, namely in 5.4 seconds. The fascinating character of both GTX models is defined in particular by the noticeable punch with which full power is delivered from one second to the next. The exterior and interior are enhanced by GTX details such as distinctive bumpers and seats. The range of standard equipment has been expanded significantly: the GTX features include new 20-inch Skagen aluminium wheels, IQ.LIGHT LED matrix headlights, 3D LED tail light clusters and illuminated Volkswagen logos at the front and rear. -
The new ID.7 Pro S and ID.7 Tourer Pro S - International Media Drive
They are the large touring vehicles in Volkswagen’s electric portfolio – the ID.7 Pro and ID.7 Tourer Pro. Volkswagen is now expanding the ID.7 range with the new Pro S models. The ID.7 Pro S and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S have a newly developed 86-kWh battery on board. Compared with the 77 kWh battery in the Pro models, this enables even longer journey distances between two charging stops: the ID.7 Pro S achieves a WLTP range of up to 709 km8, while the ID.7 Tourer Pro S can cover up to 690 km. In addition, the Pro S models can be charged at DC quick-charging stations with up to 200 kW (Pro models: 175 kW). The ID.7 Pro S and the ID.7 Tourer Pro S share both the maximum charging capacity and the new 86-kWh battery with the product line’s new performance versions: the ID.7 GTX and the ID.7 GTX Tourer. While the design focus of the all-wheel drive GTX models was on maximum sportiness, the rear-wheel drive Pro S versions were designed for maximum efficiency.
