The I.D. CROZZ is a zero-emission SUV with an electric 4MOTION four-wheel-drive powertrain that is just as convincing in the urban jungle as on unpaved tracks or under poor weather conditions. The SUV, with a top speed of 180 km/h and a power output of 225 kW, can travel up to 500 km (NEDC) with one battery charge. The first version of the study was presented in Shanghai in April 2017, followed by the I.D. CROZZ II at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in September 2017. The modified design and a newly configured interior underline the SUV character of the study car even more strongly. The production version of the I.D. CROZZ is to be launched in 2020.

The Volkswagen Brand celebrates the world premiere of the ID. ROOMZZ at Auto Shanghai, one of China’s biggest car shows. The multi-variable all-round model is the next member of the ID. family and gives you a taste of what is to come in the upcoming series version of the zero-emission SUV that will hit the Chinese market first in 2021. The countdown has begun for a breakthrough in electric mobility, and 2020 could represent the turning point. That is because the Volkswagen brand is accelerating into this new era by developing a new generation of innovative electric vehicles – the ID., ID. BUZZ and ID.CROZZ. Dr Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Volkswagen Brand Board of Management, had this to say at the Volkswagen Group Night: "The Volkswagen Brand will be investing 6 billion euros in electric mobility over the next five years. Our task is to make modern technology available to many people. This is especially important in times of technological transformation. One thing is clear: The Golf of the future must once again be a people's car!".
