The new Tayron has arrived! – The large Volkswagen SUV with five or optionally seven seats is positioned between the Touareg (premium class) and the Tiguan (mid-class). In the Tayron, five passengers can enjoy up to 885 litres of luggage space for travelling on holiday. A total of seven efficient drive systems will soon be available. The range includes two next-generation plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (eHybrid). They can achieve electric ranges of over 100 km and long journeys with up to 850 km between two refuelling stops. In addition, with the ability to tow up to 2.5 tonnes, the Tayron is a stylish yet well-equipped towing vehicle for trailers of all shapes and sizes. Volkswagen is upping the ante by launching a new, even sportier version of the ID.3 GTX. In addition to the ID.3 GTX, which delivers 210 kW (285 PS), the new ID.3 GTX Performance with 240 kW (326 PS) is now also available to order. This means that the electric compact sports car is equipped with Volkswagen’s most powerful electric drive motor. Both GTX versions effortlessly convert their power into traction on the rear axle. The body and chassis layout offers significant benefits here: with the new 79 kWh battery (net) located in the sandwich floor and precisely in the centre of the vehicle, this design offers a sporty low centre of gravity and ideal axle load distribution for driving dynamics and vehicle handling that guarantees plenty of fun.

The sportiest Golf models from Volkswagen can now be ordered in a new look and with a host of additional features. Customers can choose between the front-wheel drive Golf GTI Clubsport and three all-wheel drive versions: the classic Golf R, the spacious Golf R Variant and the exclusive Golf R Black Edition special model. All four models offer the perfect mix of extreme sportiness, comfort and everyday usability. The Golf GTI Clubsport is available from 48,075 euros in Germany and the Golf R from 53,795 euros. The Golf R Variant can be configured and ordered from 55,065 euros. Prices for the exclusive Golf R Black Edition, which is completely in black, start from 58,440 euros.

Redefined – the SUV as an all-rounder. Volkswagen is launching a new SUV model on the European market: the Tayron. The five- or seven-seater sport utility vehicle is positioned between the exclusive Touareg (premium class) and the efficient Tiguan (mid-sized class). Pre-sales are due to start in the autumn. The Tayron was developed and designed in Wolfsburg, and that’s also where it will be built. The SUV’s technical basis is the latest evolutionary stage of the modular transverse (MQB evo) platform. In addition, technology systems that were first developed for the Touareg have been adapted. Examples of the technology transferred to the Tayron include the interactive IQ.LIGHT HD matrix headlights and the seats with a pneumatic 10-chamber pressure point massage function. One thing is certain: the new Tayron is an SUV whose comfort features are best-in-class, whose appealing quality with details such as real wood trim give it a luxury-class feel, whose superior luggage compartment volume with five passengers on board reaches up to 885 litres, whose outstanding aerodynamics (drag coefficient = 0.28) decisively optimise efficiency and whose plug-in hybrid drive with over 100 km of electric range (forecast) is one of the most economical systems of its kind in the world. The Tayron is also a stylish automotive towing vehicle that – with a maximum trailer weight of up to 2.5 tonnes – is perfect for transporting horses, classic cars, motor boats or a large caravan for holidays.

Status quo of the Golf class. Volkswagen R presents the most powerful Golf models of our time: the new Golf R and the new Golf R Variant with 245 kW (333 PS). The new maximum output corresponds to an increase of 10 kW compared with the direct predecessors. As standard. This power has so far only been available in exclusive special models. The Golf R Variant has never before been available with this amount of power. The times for the classic sprint from 0 to 100 km/h have thus now been shortened to 4.6 and 4.8 seconds (Variant) respectively. In the latest generation too, the top speed can be increased by 20 km/h to 270 km/h by adding the Performance package. This makes the Golf R models the world’s fastest Volkswagens together with the Arteon R Shooting Brake.

A class of its own. The Volkswagen Passat is a global bestseller. To date, more than 34 million units have been delivered to almost every country in the world. An ongoing success – even five decades after its debut, the Passat is currently one of the three best-selling Volkswagens internationally alongside the Tiguan and Polo (with their derivatives). In Europe, it has always been a steady long-term seller, especially as the Variant. Since 2022, Volkswagen has therefore exclusively offered the Passat as an estate version between the North Cape and Gibraltar. And with resounding success. In Germany, for example, the Passat Variant was topped the rankings in the mid-sized class in 2023, with 45,494 new registrations. The secret to its success is the fact that the Passat Variant is two cars in one – a business class vehicle and a family all-rounder at the same time.
