In the past 2023 financial year, the volume brands of Brand Group Core realigned and intensified their cooperation. We would like to inform you digitally about what has been achieved and the plans for the future at the first “Annual Media Call of the Brand Group Core of the Volkswagen Group*.

Brand Group Core
The brand group CORE is the organizational merger of the Volkswagen Group's volume brands. With more than half of the Group's vehicle sales and over 200,000 employees from five brands, the cross-border brand group CORE is the answer to many of the challenges we are currently facing.

Additional equipment and accessories (additional components, tyre formats, etc.) can alter relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics, affecting the vehicle's fuel consumption, power consumption, CO2 emissions and driving performance values in addition to weather and traffic conditions and individual driving behavior.
