Golf GTE and Golf eHybrid
Volkswagen is launching two enhanced plug-in hybrids in the form of the dynamic Golf GTE (200 kW/272 PS) and the luxurious Golf eHybrid (150 kW/204 PS). Both models are equipped with an efficient and powerful plug-in hybrid drive system: this gives the Golf GTE an electric range of up to 131 kilometres, whilst the comfortable Golf eHybrid has a range of 143 kilometres (combined figures in both cases). The battery can be charged at a home wall box and other AC charging points with up to 11 kW (previously 3.6 kW). In addition, the Golf eHybrid and Golf GTE models can be charged at DC quick-charging stations with up to 50 kW. Both variants are supremely fun to drive, as they are able to generate high torque from a standstill thanks to the electric motor.Golf plug-in hybrids
